On April 11, Pope Leo XIV held a Prayer Vigil for Peace with people of all religions and ethnicities because, as he said, “We want to be united as brothers and sisters, united in a world of peace”. He called the “Church and the world to pray and work for peace”. Here in the United States the Catholic Church followed at the Nation’s capital where Cardinal McElroy stated “ As disciples, we are called not only to cultivate peace within our own hearts and communities, but also to become builders of peace among nations—rejecting the pathway of war…”
In solidarity with the Catholic Church and with all those across the world and in our Country, we join in a Prayer Vigil this Wednesday from 1pm. To 3pm.
